This weekend I went to a catholic retreat as a guide for the 9th graders and one of the nuns asked me and a partner from my grade to do a pep talk about the great experience they are going to have if they follow the rules etc. When it was time to present obviously I was nervous and I was still nervous when talking at the beginning but somehow I didn't do my nervous walk or trembled my feet and yes maybe shake a little bit but still it was different, it was the first presentation that I have ever given (obviously without counting school plays) that I didn't do any of those two things that I mentioned before.
So I started to think in that retreat we talked on Thursday about having.I started thinking on how the majority of us had the great experience in our religious retreat last year and how it really helped us become better persons and the amazing bond we all had between one another.I ended up having the idea of organizing the retreat before our POL presentations since we are going to feel more comfortable. Maybe we could do the POL in the actual retreat so it can be a POL more open, honest and emotional since the environment it going to be trustful.
And why do I say that about trustful environment, well it is because if you make a mistake it better to make it in front of people you know and trust to don't laugh or just make awkward faces.
