Through out the last week I noticed something after putting ourselves our Grades in class, I learned that everyone tells other people; “you are a 5 or a 6.”Thats not right, we cant be a number the definition of number are “a quantity or amount of something” it is not “a human being” or “the persons effort and life.”
We have lived all of our lives telling ourselves we are a number but what we actually are is the process of the creation of that number not the final number.
When a person wants to see if you are applied for a: job, college, school, they don’t just see your final grades or your last jobs, they are going to check on the process of your school, job, college life, etc.
But I am not writing this entry so a lazy student or person use this as an excuse that when they get a bad grade they say “I am not a number” this is to tell every single person that If you see a low number don’t feel ashamed or embarrassed just think on why you got it and improve that and if you got a high grade congratulations but that is just the beginning know its time to see the slight improvements you can do and make them happen. Also if you feel that you’ve got a perfect grade seek for a new challenge and put your effort in that new challenge until you feel you have done your 110%.Everyone in school when they hand us out an exam or report they go straight to the grade section and they dont give themselves time to read the feedback and that is because society has made grades your "look."

I know what it feels to get a very low grade and thinking to yourself that you are the worst person in that thing, but what I have realized is that if it just really hurts when you know you gave your 110% on it, if you don’t feel that then you are just thinking on the reaction of your parents, there is when you are not going to improve because you just don’t want to, you are just worrying on passing mediocre or as regular. And if you like to see a number on your paper dont see on the grade of the paper but on your mind put a grade to your effort in that project and then look at the feedback and see if it connects.
Stop thinking on the number and start thinking on what you are going to do to change it.
We live our lives based on numbers and depend on them so much that we forget on the purpose of the number
